2009 Perryman Area Rezoning Requests

The 2008/2009 Comprehensive Rezoning Issue Log has been published by the Harford County Department of Planning and Zoning. Included in the issues log are 3 parcels of the Mitchell's property totaling about 658 acres requesting a zoning change from light industrial (LI) to high density residential (R4). This property is pictured to the right and includes property on both sides of Canning House Road.
In addition, there is also a rezoning request by 88 Acres, LLC to rezone 88 acres of property at Rt 40 between Old Stepney and Rt 7 from LI to R4.
According the Harford County's zoning designations, R4 zoning "permits single family homes on 5,000—7,500 square foot lots, townhouses, as well as condominiums and garden apartments, with higher density in the R4 district."
