The U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) invites the community to comment on a proposed environmental plan for the Bush River Study Area. The fact sheet (linked below) summarizes the environmental studies and the alternatives considered by the Army and describes the preferred action plan. This fact sheet also provides information on how you can submit your comments on the proposed plan to the Army. Input will be accepted up until Dec. 18.

The Army has scheduled a public meeting to explain the proposed plan for remedial action at the Kings Creek Chemical Disposal Site and 30th Street Landfill in the Edgewood Area of APG on November 24, 2009 at Vitali’s Restaurant.  The poster session begins at 6:30 pm, with the actual meeting scheduled for 7:15 pm. Comments will be accepted at the public meeting and throughout the comment period (November 4 to December 18, 2009). |

Transportation for

Dredging Begins on the Bush River |

A Harford County Parks and Recreation project that has been in the planning stages for over 4 years ago has begun on the Bush River. The dredging of two channels on the Upper Bush River and Otter Creek started the week of October 19.
